Our vision has always been and still is to nurture youngsters and equip them with life skills and tools through football. We are proud to nurture, inspire, and mentor communities through sport. Over 50 girls and boys have gone through our hands for the last three years. We are committed towards discovering soccer talent for both boys and girls from all walks of life.
Joseph Kigozi fondly called Joe by many is one of Uganda’s Media experts with over 15 years of expertise in developing and building brands. He is the Group Deputy CEO at Next Media Services and the General Manager of Sanyuka Television, a hub of entertainment news. He propelled channel ranking to number 2 in the mass Market segment).
Joe has experience in developing and executing corporate PR campaign programs such as Housing Baraza that aims to bring affordable housing for Uganda that is currently suffering descent affordable housing availability.
Kigozi has been a key note speaker at the International Youth Conference on leadership in India in 2008. He has managed international partnerships with NBS TV like Voice of America DW & BBC. He has also been on the BBC Big Talk as a speaker and panelist.
Attended various high -level trainings of Media Leaders in Africa by BBC, VOA and DW over the years.
Joe marketed NBS TV for over 5 years and turned it into a house hold media brand and also represented it on the NAB Board.
Kigozi then moved to Bulange, Buganda Broadcasting Services (BBS Terefayina) for 2 years as Chief Executive Officer and built a formidable brand, built channel into top 5 most watched in less than 2 years from scratch before heading back to Next Media Services (NBS TV) where it all started.
Aside from media, Kigozi has worked with different organizations like Pearls Porto Consultancy as a Communications Director. Joe Kigozi sits on various boards; Next Media, Reach A hand and Architects Registration Board.
Joe Kigozi started and hosted one of the leading sports shows on NBS (442). He was a guest commentator on GTV in 2008 when Uganda was playing Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations.
His passion for football compelled him to start the Joe Kigozi Academy, a learning institution/ soccer Academy for young football players with an aim of empowering young people to study as they build their talents in football.
Kigozi’s vision is to empower young people with his knowledge and skills to be recognized as the most ethical, authentic and reliable individuals in their major fields of work.
As the Deputy CEO of Next Media Services, not even the sky is the limit as Joseph Kigozi is at the heart of laying the top strategies for the media giant that has seen it grow at a bullet speed. CEO Kin Kariisa has been heard on several occasions applauding his deputy for sleek execution.
